The Toronto to London (Heathrow) route will be the first assignment for the 777. Other routes throughout Europe, Asia and Australia will follow later.

The Air Canada configurationis capable of carrying up to 307passengers in economy and 42 in first class 'suites'that will allowfirst class customers to stretch out in 'lie-flat' beds.
Air Canada will take delivery of its first long-range version of the plane next year to use onits Vancouver to Sydney route.
Air Canada also has 14 Boeing 787 aircraft on order. Deliveries of those planes beginin 2010.
